Privacy Policy

Effective date: July 9, 2026

We consult on AI governance for a living, so we hold ourselves to the standard we recommend to clients: collect little, explain clearly, delete promptly. This policy describes what information the OPLEXUS website ("oplexus.com") collects, why, and the choices you have.

Who we are

OPLEXUS is an AI consulting company serving clients globally, with presence across India, the USA, the UK, Saudi Arabia, Germany and Australia. For anything related to this policy or your data, contact us at info@oplexus.com.

What we collect, and why

1. Information you send us

When you use our contact form, or choose to share your AI Readiness Assessment results, we receive what you submit: your name, work email, company name, and your message or assessment answers. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry and, where relevant, to prepare for a conversation you've requested. We do not add you to marketing lists without asking, and we never sell or rent your details.

Note that the AI Readiness Assessment itself runs entirely in your browser — your answers are not sent to us unless you explicitly submit the "send my results" form at the end.

When you register for a workshop, we receive your name, contact number, email address, whether you are working or studying, and (for students) your college name. We use this only to manage your registration and to send you joining details and updates about that workshop series.

2. Visit information collected automatically

Like most websites, we keep a simple log of visits to understand how the site is used and to protect it from abuse. For each page view we record: the date and time, your IP address, the page visited, the referring website, your browser type and language preference. From the IP address we derive an approximate location (country and city level only — never a precise position).

We use this information in aggregate — "how many visitors this week, from which countries, reading which pages" — to improve the site and our content. We do not use it to build individual profiles, and we do not combine it with other data sources to identify you.

3. Cookies

This website sets no cookies and uses no advertising or cross-site trackers. There is nothing to accept or decline — which is why you don't see a cookie banner.

Third parties involved

  • Web hosting. Our website and its logs are stored with our hosting provider, which processes data on our behalf and keeps its own standard server logs.
  • Google Fonts. The site's typefaces load from Google's servers, which means Google receives your IP address and browser details when the page loads, as with any resource fetched from the web.
  • IP geolocation. To translate IP addresses into approximate countries and cities for our aggregate statistics, IP addresses may be looked up against a geolocation service (ip-api.com / ipinfo.io). Only the IP address is shared — never your name, email or messages.

We use no advertising networks, no social media pixels, and no third-party analytics platforms.

How long we keep things

  • Enquiries and correspondence: for as long as needed to handle your request and any business relationship that follows, after which they are deleted.
  • Workshop registrations: kept until the workshop series ends and attendance records are complete, then deleted.
  • Visit logs: retained for a maximum of 12 months, then deleted. Aggregate statistics (counts with no personal data) may be kept longer.

Your rights

Depending on where you live — including under the EU/UK GDPR, India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act (DPDP), and comparable laws elsewhere — you have the right to ask us:

  • what personal data we hold about you (access);
  • to correct it if it's wrong (rectification);
  • to delete it (erasure);
  • to stop processing it or to receive a copy in a portable format.

Email info@oplexus.com with your request and we will respond within 30 days. If you believe we've handled your data improperly, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority — though we'd appreciate the chance to fix it first.

Security

The site is served over HTTPS, visit logs are stored outside the publicly accessible web directory, and access to statistics is restricted. We apply the same security engineering discipline to our own site that we bring to client work — and if we ever discover an incident affecting your data, we will inform you promptly.

Children

Our website and services are directed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

Changes to this policy

If we change what we collect or how we use it, we will update this page and its effective date. Material changes will be noted prominently on the site.
